1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“App Terms”) govern your use of the Close The Tab browser extension (the “Extension”), developed and published by Andrei Gulin, Individual Entrepreneur (“we,” “our,” “us”) under the useGulin (may be stylized as useGulin();) trade name.

These App Terms supplement the useGulin Umbrella Terms of Service. In case of any conflict between these App Terms and the Umbrella Terms, these App Terms prevail. If these App Terms are silent on a matter, the Umbrella Terms apply.

2. License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension:

• Free tier: Basic functionality is provided at no cost.
• Paid tier: Additional features are unlocked via a one-time license key purchase processed through Paddle.

License keys are issued for personal use only and may not be shared, resold, or redistributed.

3. Data Collected

The Extension collects and processes only the data described in the Close The Tab Privacy Policy, which forms part of these App Terms. No analytics or advertising tracking is performed.

4. Restrictions

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent license verification mechanisms.
• Share your license key with others.
• Use the Extension in violation of applicable laws.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments for paid features are handled by Paddle. We do not store your full payment details. Refund requests should be submitted through Paddle or as required by applicable law.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these App Terms. We do not track usage for enforcement purposes, but we may disable a license key if it is found to be publicly shared.
